He brings operational experience across overseas deployment, law enforcement, domestic crisis response, civil support missions, and advanced tactical training environments.

Erickson began his career in high-tempo operational roles where responsibility was earned early. He served in forward positions alongside SOF units and later assumed leadership responsibilities in a combat environment. His experience continued into law enforcement, where he developed firsthand perspective on the responsibilities, legal considerations, and consequences that come with making decisions in dynamic environments involving the public.
